Chiropractic nutrition is the use of diet and food supplements to support the chiropractic adjustment and the tool for addressing the biochemical aspect of the subluxation.

The subluxation is the misalignment of a vertebral bone that can be caused by physical, chemical or mental stressors. The subluxation then elicits pressure on the spinal nerves causing pain and dysfunction . Disturbances in nutritional(biochemical) function cause specific subluxations by way of the viscero-somatic reflex. Chronic visceral/organ dysfunction, and or, overload will cause persistent or recurring subluxations that will not heal without proper whole food nutritional supplementation.
